I can vividly remember sitting in the Philadelphia Art Museum with Van Gogh's Sunflowers staring back at me. With my tongue stuck out in concentration, I attempted to recreate his Post Impressionist style with my Crayola colored pencils and white computer paper. This was a weekly ritual for my family. My mom would load up my siblings and I in the station wagon, and drive over to the art museum where she would hand us paper and pencils and encouraged us to recreate one piece that we saw. My love of art began in elementary school with those excursions to the art museum and has continued to this day.

I am an artist educator who is passionate about sharing my love of the arts with others. I love creating, making, and teaching.
