Art education is vitally important as it provides a means of expression and an outlet of individuality while at the same time serving as a platform to learn other skills that can translate into the many dimensions of a student's life. Observation, craftsmanship, creative problem solving, perseverance, and reflection are all skills that students develop and build upon through the visual arts.
